  Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys

We would like to be your exclusive

ROV visual inspection company.

Due to recent O.S.H.A. clarifications of its 1910, Subpart T, Commercial Diving Regulations you are in

violation of Federal Law and are exposing your organization to needless liability issues and fines of up to

$100,000 if you are using local SCUBA divers, Rescue Recovery Team divers or sport certified SCUBA

diving engineers who do not meet these minimum requirements for your underwater inspections.

Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys is a legal and cost effective alternative.

If you are using O.S.H.A. legal dive teams the use of a R.O.V in place of divers will lower your total inspection costs significantly. This is due to the lower overall logistical requirements, the reduction of the number of crew members required under the regulations (3 persons for surface supplied divers, 5 persons for SCUBA operations in enclosed spaces) and the fact that we are based in the Northern California area.

Our Mission

Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys IS NOT A DIVING COMPANY.

We are not a branch of, or in any way affiliated with any commercial diving company. Although you can easily find specialized diving contractors on the internet or in your circle of fellow plant operation specialists  to do the necessary specialized work that only a diver in the water can do.

Additionally, we are solely an inspection company,

we don't have the ability to perform repairs at your

facility nor do we make any suggestions

as to the suitability or usability of anything we observe.

All I can do is let you see what's there, and you make the decision. If you feel divers need to hit the water ASAP, then we can stay around and assist those divers in finding the exact location that needs their attention. They simple enter the water and follow the umbilical to the target. Quickly and easily and the R.O.V can stand by to provide extra light if need be and assistance with things from the surface. (i.e. A tool or parts required that was overlooked can easily be retrieved on the surface by the R.O.V and quickly taken back down to the divers without fear of diving related injuries like the "bends" or the need to decompress over many minutes before getting to the surface in the first place. How much is that "peace of mind" worth to you and your dive team?

We have no reason to exaggerate minor defects in an attempt to generate additional work. In majority of the cases, you or your associate plant engineer or facilities personnel will be all standing around with their face 'glued' to the screen anyway. They may see a defect or situation that requires IMMEDIATE intervention and this is the convenience of using an R.O.V. They can get the divers headed their way even as the inspection is on-going and save you even more time. That would be YOUR call.

It doesn't need to be daylight either! We work around the clock to make it happen for you. You have too much money on the line in some situations to just pack it up at 5pm and go to the motel for the night. Shut-downs, emergency repairs, inspections, etc. all fall into the "at all costs" category majority of the time so we're here to make sure we aren't the reason you fall behind! Just let us know if you think the inspection might go for more than 12 hrs. so we can schedule a second shift operator.

What does this mean to you?

It means that we are providing you with a truthful, unbiased and unexaggerated assessment of your underwater structures which is preserved on DVD disk and if you require it, a paper report, which can be faxed or e-mailed where ever you require.

We carry $1,000,000.00 in liability coverage (That's 1 million dollars $$$ of protection due to our negligence and/or operator errors at your facility. It is so high as to protect your delicate and valuable plant resources and as of yet we've had no claims. Although we make every attempt to obtain visual information for you, the operator has final say whether or not to enter, continue, or avoid any obstacle or area he/she feels is dangerous to the R.O.V or persons topside who might be helping with the handling of the umbilical or would ultimately result in a catastrophic event from such actions.

Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys is registered with DUNS/CCR for government contracting purposes.

Company Profile

Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys is a limited liability company specifically for utilizing a REMOTE OPERATED VEHICLE for underwater visual inspections only. The owner has been a sport diver for the past 30 years, holding numerous scuba certifications. He has operated numerous smaller inspection class ROV's on limited occasions and now has embarked on a specialized service for those who can't wait for nor afford the large corporations.

Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys can be on site (pending calendar scheduling conflicts WITH OTHER CLIENTS) within hours, if not minutes. Servicing the Northern California area and Nevada as well as Oregon and surrounding states. The time it takes to drive or fly to your location is the initial on-site time frame. If you pick us up at the airport, we can be at your facility within an hour of the take off for the most part. (Weather and schedules permitting of course).

Company Security Policies of Deep Visions LLC ROV Surveys and following the motto of "...loose lips sink ships..." insures any information obtained either visually, noted in operator observations, still pictures and/or video shot of the screen(s) or stored on media will remain your personal private property and no-one except those whom you specifically name will be allowed access to any and all of that inspection video, notes, files, CDs, DVD's and/or other media which stores, transmits, conveys or otherwise allows persons not authorized to view such media. Of course we cannot be responsible for pictures or video taken by your personnel, visitors, and/or others at the site with video, still or phone cameras and security cameras which might be present overlooking the whole screen. You as a customer would be responsible for your own plant or facility security team to prevent unauthorized observations and recordings.

Certificates held include: P.A.D.I., S.S.I., N.A.U.I. and N.A.S.D.S.

Our customers say that a R.O.V is the cheapest method of preliminary observations and if divers are required, then the use of ROV's to go in first, will limit the exposure of the divers and allow them to focus on areas of interest and not waste precious bottom-time on "looking".
