Capabilities
DEEP VISIONS can operate in daylight or dark, good weather or bad (within
reason of course!) and can operate to a depth of around 225' - 250' vertical
distance from the boat, or 225' - 250' from shore straight out and this depth is
far beyond the reach of normal recreational divers. Technical divers can make
this kind of a dive but with an army of support and team personnel to be
absolutely safe.
- Capability 1
- Deep water... penstocks, trash screens, fish barriers (while
operating!), and other sources of required scheduled observations.
- Capability 2
- Systematic search patterns from boat or shore. With on-board compass and
depth readout, a "topo" map can be utilized to pinpoint the exact location.
Failing that, we can simply come straight up from our present location and
give the observers a spot to train their eyes on.
- Capability 3
- Pipeline or Freshwater intake pipes can be visually observed during
operation and most likely we can move inside if the flow is reduced so we
don't stir up a lot of sediment or rub the interior and flake off the
corrosion which will restrict vision.
